Idag är det 10 dagar kvar tills vi åker till Primary Children´s Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah i USA. Jag vet inte exakt vad som kommer att hända, men jag vet att det är Ediths och familjens viktigaste och mest avgörande resa. Den ger oss ett hopp. Ett hopp som inte är ett halmstrå, utan faktiskt en realistisk möjlighet att ge min dotter en chans till ett bättre liv, men med en teknik som inte hunnit hit än. Den svenska hälso- och sjukvården kan inte hjälpa min dotter mer, de har tömt sin verktygslåda. Men det finns hjälp, i USA på Intermountain Primary Children´s Hospital – och dit ska vi ta Edith.

10 DAYS LEFT EDITH – the first post
Today its 10 days left until we go to Primary Children’s Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah in the USA. I do not know exactly what will happen, but I do know that it is Edith´s and her family’s most important and crucial journey. It gives us hope. A hope that is not a long shot, but actually a realistic opportunity to give my daughter a chance to a better life, but with a technology that has not yet reached Europe.
The Swedish health care system can no longer help my daughter, they have emptied their toolbox. But there is help, in the United States at Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital – and that’s where we’ll bring Edith.
